John 4:48 NASB95 So Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you simply will not believe.”

If it requires sight, it is not belief, it is simply, limited sight knowledge.

Romans 10:17 NASB95 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Hebrews 11:1 NASB95 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Man so desires to see, instead of believing by faith. What we do not realize is that faith in God, has more assurance, than the sight of man.

Jesus said in our text, "Unless you see," and not just see, but experience miraculous things, then you refuse to accept.'

A man came to Jesus asking Him to heal his son before he died. Jesus responded, "Go your son lives!" It then says, "The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and started off." Because of his belief, his son was healed that very moment. The Son was not there it took faith on the man's part.

If you have faith you will see more than if you require sight.

Think about a blind person, who by faith, believes what they hear from the word of God. The first sight they will ever see is the face of God. Then forever their vision will be God's glory.

While a person who lives by sight will see the face of God, as He says depart for I never knew you. Then they will spend eternity in outer darkness

We need knowledge as we are told in Hosea 4:6 NASB95 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

But we must not misunderstand the type of knowledge that it is speaking of. It is not speaking of simple limited sight knowledge, which can be extremely misleading. It is instead speaking of a faith in God knowledge, which provides absolute truth. How do I know this? By reading the preceding verses. Hosea 4:1 NASB95 Listen to the word of the LORD, O sons of Israel, For the LORD has a case against the inhabitants of the land, Because there is no faithfulness or kindness Or knowledge of God in the land.

Knowledge without faith in God will lead you astray. Faith in God will provide knowledge that is absolute truth.

I pray you have this, faith in God knowledge, so you can live eternal in the truth which is Jesus (Jehovah's Salvation).
