When seeking answers in the world there is no shortage of places to look. However, not all places are equal. According to research a high percentage of news organizations share Bias or false information and half of the information found on the Internet is not correct. We seek information from other people in our lives and are not sure that they are correct. So what is the solution?
Two kings in the Bible were discussing going to war at Ramoth Gilead. One king (Ahab) said let me check with my prophets of all the gods. So he gathered 400 and they all agreed saying, 1 Kings 22:12 All the prophets were prophesying thus, saying, “Go up to Ramoth-gilead and prosper, for the Lord will give it into the hand of the king.”
The other king (Jehoshaphat) said do you not have a prophet of the Lord (Yahweh) God, whom we can ask. There was one whom they sent for and He said 1 Kings 22:17 So he said, “I saw all Israel Scattered on the mountains, Like sheep which have no shepherd. And the Lord said, ‘These have no master. Let each of them return to his house in peace.’ ”
The rest of the story tells us the word that came from God was correct and true.
Do you know the Bible has never been proven wrong on one single item? On multiple occasions, people have stepped forward and claimed they have proven it wrong only to realize and be shown in time that either they were wrong or they had misinterpreted the word of God. This shows us that when looking for 100% true, correct, and perfect information, we only have one place to look and that is the word of God. If you hear a person saying "God says", you need to check it against His (the Lord God's) word. There is NO other source of information that has never been proven wrong and yet there is no other source that people have tried to disprove more than the word of God.
So when seeking answers in the world, there is only one place you need to go. It is the true and inerrant word of the only True and Living God. By the way, this Word explains to us that He sent His Son to pay our sin debt, by death on the cross. It also tells us He rose to life to provide eternal life for all who will repent and believe.
The book that is never wrong said this.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
People would be better off if we would all stop Google and start searching the BIBLE!
Check it out and you will know, it is true. Love Bro. Scott
