John 12:9 NASB95 The large crowd of the Jews then learned that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead.

We read in scripture multiple times that many seek not for Jesus but for what he can do for them. Some came because he might feed them. Others come to be healed. Some come for entertainment. The list of reasons for coming is long. Unfortunately for many, they never go past these selfish desires. Therefore, they turn from Him when He no longer offers them their desires because they are selfish. You might have come seeking something other than Jesus; however, I pray you have realized that He is the gift. He is the blessing. He is the necessity. He is the power. He is love. He is the way. He's is life. He is truth. He is the answer. He is righteousness. He is mercy. He is grace. He is good. He is holy, He is eternal. He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. He is Jesus (Jehovah's Salvation) He is Immanuel (God with us) He is God. He is God's Son. He is Salvation. He is the fulfillment of the Law. He is the beginning He is the end. He is light. He is the physician for the sin sick. He is I Am. He is the propitiation. He is the atonement. He is the only legitimate sacrifice. He is the Lamb of God. He is the cleansing blood. He is the Word. He was alive, then died, but is alive forevermore. He is risen. He is the bread of life. He is the door. He is the resurrection. He is the vine. He is the good shepherd. He is the visible image of the invisible God. He is the seed of woman. He is the anointed One. He is the Savior. He is the Messiah. He is the Son of Man while fully God. He is the Light of Revelation to the Gentiles. He is the Glory of the Jews. He is the cornerstone. He is the firm foundation. He is the groom of the church. He is the Rock of David. He is the root of David. He is the offspring of David He is the bright and morning star. He is the Rose of Sharon. He is the Lily of the Valley. He is our fortress. He is living water. He was. He is, and He always will be! He is hope. He is sure. He is perfect. He is complete. He is enough. He is what you must have.

Give up all and seek after Him!

There is nothing else, for He is everything!

What is food? What is healing? What is entertainment? The answer is nothing. Who is Jesus? The answer is life. There is only death apart from life and life is only in Jesus!

He is the Lord Jesus!

Seek only Him!
