You have started your day. You have laid out plans for all you have to do. Your plans include the strength in your back and the knowledge in your mind. You will give all the effort of your heart to see this day's plans succeed. The world tells you with these types of plans, strength, knowledge, and effort, it will be a success, but God says make sure you don't leave out the most important part. Psalms 127:1 NASB1995 Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain.

We can do nothing right on our own. We will mess it up if we do not follow the Lord's plans. With His guidance, strength, and wisdom, it will be right. Now the world says look at all that has been done without God. However, when you look through the light of scripture you can see the vain cracks and holes in our godless efforts. God created a garden where every creature could live in peace together and grow in life. We took His creation and manufactured a place where not only do the animals fight and kill but man does also. Animals kill each other and humans. Men kill each other and animals. God created life that continually grows. Man took that life and manufactured death. Even to the point where we kill humans before they have a chance to breathe air. We give it a name like abortion so we won't look at it for what it is (Murder). God created us male and female. A perfect match for each other that will procreate what man has destroyed. Then, we manufactured a belief that man can manufacture men into women and vice versa. Just two days ago, a judge ruled that a man guilty of killing an 11 month old and sentenced to 55 years in prison can have a sex change operation at taxpayers expense and be placed in an all female prison. We have built without God and this is our building.

God is telling us that everything we build (manufacture) without God is done in vain. It will all dissolve like snow in fire on the day of Judgment. 2 Peter 3:7 NASB1995 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

Instead of spending so much time building our ungodly efforts that will be burned, how about we seek to see souls saved so they can have everlasting life? Let's stop killing on our own and start sharing life in Christ. Because truthfully, from the word of God, all we have been doing apart from the Lord is in vain!
