Revelation 7:12 NASB95 saying, “Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

Around the throne in heaven, the apostle sees a worship service that has no end. He notices they start with Amen. We correctly understand Amen to mean "so be it." However, Henry Morris had a great understanding of the word. He wrote, "The word 'amen' is a most remarkable word. It was transliterated directly from the Hebrew into the Greek of the New Testament, then into Latin and into English and many other languages, so that it is practically a universal word. It has been called the best-known word in human speech. The word is directly related — in fact, almost identical — to the Hebrew word for "believe" (aman), or faithful. Thus, it came to mean "sure" or "truly", an expression of absolute trust and confidence.

With absolute trust and confidence, they offer up worship to the Lord. May our worship reveal who the "so be it" God is. He is absolutely full of blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might.

The Bible Says commentary,llll reveals the word blessing as a living eulogy. I absolutely love this explanation of Blessing!

"Blessing: This is the Greek word “eulogia” from which we get the English word “eulogy,” which is a complimentary statement about someone’s life and character. Here the worshippers proclaim that the culmination of all words of praise belongs to our God for the things He has done."

"Glory: This is the reflection of his image. The purpose of Satan was the light bringer. He was to reflect the glory of God into His creation. Satan started to think the glory he reflected was his own instead of God's and thus was filled with pride. Praise the Lord, in Heaven our worship will reflect God's glory. Oh, if we would just start it now."

"Wisdom: This is an attribute of God and can come from no one else. His wisdom is shown in His creation through His work. Wisdom reveals to us the omniscience of God. It gives understanding of God as we are in need through the Holy Spirit."

"Thanksgiving: This is the response in the realization of the Glory and Wisdom of God. It is the appreciation of who He is, the awe-inspiring realization of His omnibeing which is complete holiness!"

"Honor: this is best translated as priceless. We are given a worth by Christ. He redeemed us with His life. He determined we are worth His emptying of Himself, being wrapped in flesh and giving of Himself for us. That is a glorious valuation. Yet there is no metric in all of creation to place a worth on God. He is absolutely priceless. Since He is the Creator, nothing He creates can equal, even when combined with all of creation to the worth of the one who created it. This is His honor. He is unattainable in worth. While worth is not a metric capable of describing His priceless value."

"Power and Might: He is simply Omnipotent. There is no power that doesn't come from His power. His power is only explained in the might that He has to control His power."

To our God forever and ever: God has always existed. He has no beginning and no end, so His Amen must also. So be it!
