1 Corinthians 6:7 Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?

Do you want to be like Christ?

He took our defeat and never complained. Instead, He asked God to forgive us for wronging Him. We however, lose our patience when people say something wrong to us. If they do something against us then we expect restitution. If they purposely attack us or seek to wrong us then we are ready to turn them over to God's wrath. Paul says in this verse it is better for us to accept the wrong. When we seek to get restitution from the person who has wronged us it is like Christ saying I take back my atonement for you. We have done so many people wrong we would never be able to pay our restitution so why would we expect it be paid to us. Instead we look more like Christ when we turn the other cheek. We look more like Christ when we forgive. We look more like Christ when we seek to suffer on behalf of others. Paul says, actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?

Let's look like Christ.

Let's get our anger under control and set our God given Grace and Mercy free.

Love Bro. Scott
