Ephesians 6:18 NASB1995 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,

Paul speaks of our lives in the way that God wants us to see it. Paul explains we are in a battle. Not a physical battle with people but a spiritual battle with demons. We are not against the unsaved, we are against their god who has deceived them (Satan). So Paul explains that we must be in prayer consistently with this mindset. That our enemy is not physical but spiritual. So when we pray we need to pray in the Spirit. This means to not only pray with the guidance of the Holy Spirit but also our God-given spirit for the souls of men. The battle is Satan seeking to keep souls from receiving the Holy Spirit so that they will be punished to an eternal hell just like him. He is full of hate and wants to deceive every soul for his own pleasure. For this reason Paul says, "be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints." People we must be in the battle by prayer in the Spirit and physical preparation of wearing the full armor of God. Are you wielding the sword of the word of God by sharing the Gospel. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NASB1995 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

This is the GREATEST WEAPON in all of time because scripture tells us it is the POWER OF GOD FOR SALVATION. Romans 1:16 NASB1995 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Dont be ashamed. Pray in the Spirit and swing with all your might the Gospel. It cuts to the marrow revealing sin and renewing life by birthing again what was already born but died in spiritual battle.

Love Bro. Scott
