How fast will the destruction of the wicked come? It will happen in an instance from splendor to shatter, from luxury to leveling, the fall of sin will happen. God's wrath and justice complete and quick. In Revelation speaking of the great city Babylon it says, ‭Revelation 18:10 standing at a distance because of the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’

In one hour's time, the fall of sin brings down its lodging over it. It will bury itself in the destruction yet that will not keep it from being thrown into the lake of fire. Those that her temptation drew in will stand at a distance in hope of not being caught in her punishment but even that will be unsuccessful. God's Judgment can not be stopped or contained. While it is righteous and just it is also Holy, perfect and complete. The only way to avoid it is to be innocent. Since all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God we must be saved by an atoning sacrifice which suffers in our place. We have such a substitution in Jesus. He is the only option man has to avoid the judgment hour. Distance is not enough. Remorse is not enough. Hiding is not successful. You must be covered in the righteousness of Jesus. The hour is coming total destruction is at hand. Will you be ready in Christ? Jesus said in ‭Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

Why would you risk it by waiting when Jesus did all the work? The gift is offered. Eternal life in Jesus is available until the hour comes. I pray you have His Salvation and will offer to others today. So you and they can avoid the fears of torment at that unknown hour.

Love Bro. Scott
