Exodus 1:1 NASB95 Now these are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob; they came each one with his household:

When God guides you into His protection that He has prepared before you even knew you would need it, I ask, whom will you take with you?

Years before our text, God had started the work to provide safety for the family of Jacob through Joshua. Now, as the family seeks protection, each father is bringing his personal family along, simply out of love.

God before the foundation of the earth planned to offer redemption for sin through the sacrifice of His Son. He also provided a way that people could share, lead, guide, and bring others along. This plan was Jesus and the way of sharing is through the gospel (good news) of Jesus.

After God has done so much to protect us from an eternal hell, Scripture teaches us that He desires us to provide this gospel to all, especially our loved ones.

So as you receive the eternal protection in the presence of God through His Son Jesus, I ask you again whom will you bring with you?

Just as Exodus lists these, so will the Lamb's Book of Life. Will people you love be listed here?

The choice to step into God's protection is theirs. The choice to guide them is yours. Whom will you lead?

Love Bro. Scott
