Nehemiah 2:18 NASB95 I told them how the hand of my God had been favorable to me and also about the king’s words which he had spoken to me. Then they said, “Let us arise and build.” So they put their hands to the good work.

We all love it when God gives us a vision to obey and see His Kingdom grow. However, where we so often miss out is when we are in a time of no revelation from the Lord.

Everyone will spend time in the desert. A dry spell is inevitable in this life. However, that doesn't mean we are not usable by God. It just means we are to get to work in a work of God given to another brother or sister. So often when we are thirsting it is because we are not being watered in God's vision for someone else section of the garden.

When Nehemiah came to Jerusalem, they were thirsty, but they said, “Let us arise and build.” So they put their hands to the good work. They were quenched by God's vision for Nehemiah.

Don't sit around and die of thirst. Get up, find where God is working, and be nourished in furthering the kingdom through God's vision in them.

Your vision will come in God's time, but until then find where God is working and join in.

Be quenched in God's work no matter if He gives you the vision or someone else.

See what God can do with willing well-watered people.

Love Bro. Scott
