‭Proverbs 21:2 Every man’s way is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts.

Why do you do what you do? Is it for the growth of the Kingdom of God or for the growth of your kingdom? We look through our eyes and reason with our mind and if we don't see worldly evil in our actions then by our eyes judgment and the minds understanding what is not evil is good. The problem with this is the world's version of evil is extremely lax and the truth of evil is that anything done out of, the will or desire of God is evil. Stop judging your actions by the eye test and instead judge it by the God test that weighs out the desire of your heart. If your desire is to be good in the ways of the world, which by the eye test is nice, then you are showing your loved ones and those around you how to live in the pleasures of the world. This will end in the sufferings of hell. However, if your desire is to live in the ways of God then you will lead them to follow Jesus who is the only Way to eternal life with the Father. These can both look good through the eyes but God sees through the heart. The weight of your heart should be heavy with such a great weight of compassion to do everything that shows the Lord Jesus. If it is, then God will find that your heart is filled with him and this is the weight that tips the scales. A relationship with God fills you up to overflowing with the Spirit that desires to live for Christ. I pray that you look at life through the heart and will see the need for your eyes to be closed and your heart open to pour out the love of Christ into the world. Love Bro. Scott
