Matthew 28:7 NASB95 “Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you.”

Stop, wait, hold on, listen, pay attention, you don't want to miss out on this. The Angel of the Lord said, "GO QUICKLY and TELL!"

Do you feel a sense of urgency about sharing the gospel with others? I wonder why the Angel said, 'Go Quickly?' Could it be that the longer they are without, the more sin they might get involved in? Could it be that the longer they are without the more suffering, anxiousness, fear, sadness, panic, depression, and hate, they might experience? Could it be that the day of their salvation is today? Could it be that today will be their last chance? It is estimated that over 166,000 people die each day without Christ. That means that 166,000 souls enter into eternity doomed to hell each day. The solution to this is the gospel message. Maybe that is why the Angel said "GO QUICKLY and TELL!" No, no, no, I am positive that is why we need to GO QUICKLY and TELL!

What do we tell? "He has risen from the dead!"

Christ is alive! Death is defeated! Life has overcome! You can have life, with Jesus as your Lord and Savior! The tomb is empty and the throne is full! He is God! Victory is His and if you place your faith in Him as Lord then victory is yours! I know because Victory is mine!

The Angel said GO QUICKLY and TELL, His disciples that "HE HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD!

Then Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20 NASB95 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

The words "Go therefore," mean since you are going. Why would they be going? Because the angel of the Lord said GO QUICKLY and TELL!

Ok, I know we started this devo with the words, "Stop, wait, hold on, listen, pay attention, you don't want to miss out on this," but now that we got it, what are we waiting for?

Over 166,000 people can't wait so let's GO QUICKLY and TELL, His disciples.

Jesus, says Go therefore and make disciples of all nations. He then says baptizing them (that is complete immersion) in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you! We start by telling them, He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you. He has ascended to the right hand of the Father to make intercessions for you.

Will you by Faith do what we are told in Romans 10:9 NASB95? that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

If so that is one down let's QUICKLY GO and TELL the next, over 165999 more before the end of the day. It's not all on you because each one who accepts has the same command and Jesus does the salvation. We just Go Quickly and tell.

Love Bro. Scott
