How long are you willing to wait? We have become a right now society. We stand in front of a microwave and wish it would hurry. We get frustrated if we have to wait an hour at the doctor's office to be seen. Imagine your family doctor tells you it looks like cancer it seems to be aggressive and he will send you to a specialist for treatment in 1-2 months. That is the average wait time in the USA. You would probably get upset and fuss for a quicker time. However, when you find out that the average wait time presently in our neighboring country Canada is 6 months or more. You might be happy with 1-2 months. That is quite a bit of difference from going to a specialist in the USA to going to one in Canada. If you were sick and knew what you know now would you go to a doctor in Canada or the USA? There is a man in the Bible who had been waiting by the pool of Bethesda for 38 years in hopes of being the first to get in the pool after the waters were stirred so he could walk. Our text tells us in ‭John 5:6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He *said to him, “Do you wish to get well?”

Jesus immediately healed the man. I said Immediately! Jesus said get up and walk. The man got up and walked. If you were sick and knew what you know now would you wait by the pool or seek Jesus? Scripture tells us that a prayer offered in faith will cause the Lord Jesus to heal and forgive. ‭James 5:15 and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.

The greatest sickness we have is the sin seed which will cause definite eternal death unless we with sincere faith seek healing through the salvation of Jesus. ‭Luke 5:31-32 And Jesus answered and said to them, “It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”

In this case, it is not the patient who has to wait on the physician. Jesus has been waiting on you since the moment you understood accountability. Thankfully He is more patient than us. He has long suffered and waited for you to seek Him so He can heal your greatest illness with His Salvation. Don't make him wait and if you have already been saved give your physician (Jesus) a great reference and recommend Him to all you know.

Go to Jesus, He has no waiting room. He will immediately heal you! Yes, I said Immediately. Love Bro. Scott
