Revelation 9:6 NASB95 And in those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death flees from them.

During the tribulation things will be so bad that people will not want to live but they will not be able to even take their own lives.

This is a mild example of time in Hell. We know from the story of Lazarus and the rich man that Hell is a place of torment.

Luke 16:24 NASB95 “And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’

Unending torment, this is hell, and this will be the case for the seven years of tribulation.

There is only one way to avoid this torment and that is faith in Christ.

Faith in Christ leads to obedience in Christ. Obedience in Christ leads to peace in Christ. Peace in Christ does not lead to no tribulation on earth but to refuge in Christ during tribulation.

At the start of the Great Tribulation, the one who holds back Satan will be removed. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 NASB95 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.

At this time there will be no refuge in Christ so the church is removed with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Thus there is no peace and people will long to die and death flees from them.

Live in faith now so although there is tribulation you will be removed from the great tribulation.

Love Bro. Scott
