John 19:15 NASB95 So they cried out, “Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar.”

Who is your King?

The creator of the world. The Savior of the world. The redeemer of the world. The Son of God. The Lord of Lords. The King of Kings was presented to the people having been scourged and mocked. He was presented, having been tried and found innocent. His flesh was torn and ripped, and his body marred beyond that of any man. Yet He came out and was presented to mankind a willing substitution for us. A crown of thorns representing the curse of sin was pressed into His head. Blood ran from His brow like sweat from working the ground as Adam was condemned because of sin. He wore the curse of sin, a purple robe to mock His majesty. They looked upon their debt that was laid on an innocent King and cried "Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!”

The question was asked, "Shall I crucify your King?" The response was simple and yet so telling, "We have no king but Caesar.”

Who is your King?

You say it is Jesus but does your life say, "I have no King but me?" "I have no King but the president." "I have no King but my spouse." I have no King but my job." I have no King but my children."

Do you speak with your mouth "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus," but your life says "crucify, crucify, crucify. "

Picture your day with a bubble above your head. The actions of your life and the thoughts of your mind are printed in the bubble for all to see. As you say, "Jesus is Lord," does the bubble say, "I am Lord?" When you say, "I love Jesus," does the bubble say, my actions cry crucify?

Every time we don't respond to His call, we are saying I am King, and Every time we sin, instead of glorifying Him, we are saying crucify Him.

Pilate is asking "Shall I crucify your King?"

What is your response today?

Speak, live, and respond to His call with "Jesus is King of Kings, and Lord of Lords."

As S.M.Lockridge would say. "THAT'S MY KING!"

Who is your King?

Love Bro. Scott
