How do you treat people?
God gives us clear direction.
Ephesians 6:7 NASB95 With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men,
Scripture says "with good will" meaning; "thought” with which believers are to arm themselves so as to have no more dealings with sin. To serve with a desire to please with all your effort so as to bring only good upon your master.
Then it says render service. This means to serve with a mindset of freely choosing to. Not serving out of pressure or compulsory. While this might exist it is not the reason you render service. You do so because you desire to fulfill good upon the other.
Just as "to the Lord and not to men." You will strive not to sin but to bring only good upon your master, who is the Lord. Therefore, you serve others the same way and with the same thought. Not that it is required but because you desire to please your master the LORD.
Start today by evaluating how you treat others. Do you treat them the way you desire to treat the Lord? Are you showing love, respect, honesty, caring truth, so as to be completely righteous, in the presence of the Lord?
If not then today is the day to strive to start.
This is the desire of your Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Realize the opposite of this is to show permissiveness, sympathy, insincerity, uncaring lying, being completely unrighteous, so as to make them comfortable while you wait upon their judgement. This is not Christ-like but Satan-like.
Once again scripture says, Ephesians 6:7 NASB95 With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men,
The verse before this one says, Ephesians 6:6 NASB95 not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.
How do you treat people?
They might say thank you now for acting like Satan but they will want to know, (for eternity) why you weren't straightforward and Christ-like.
How do you treat people?
