It is easy to get frustrated by the evil we see in this world. It fills the news. It spews from political arenas. It runs rampant in Government, and it overflows the lives of everyone. I am ashamed to say it has taken over many gatherings with the title church and has infiltrated many real churches. In the Bible Belt, we see many churches dying, and of the ones that are growing many preach nothing but milk because the people will not accept meat. They feel it takes too much effort to chew. Therefore if they are not fed in a way that all they have to do is swallow they seek a new Church or a new Pastor. All of this evil has bitten us so much it makes us want to give up. I have to admit that I have even fallen prey to the give-up and move-on bite of evil from time to time. However, if we will stay in the word of God then He will give us strength and desire to march on with the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. Paul was on a ship where everyone was overcome with the evil of certain death when Paul received a message from an angel of the Lord. Paul then told the people in ‭Acts 27:25 Therefore, keep up your courage, men, for I believe God that it will turn out exactly as I have been told.

Let me encourage you today to keep up the courage of God in the midst of all this evil because His word tells us that we will have certain victory when we have received the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Paul told them there will be a shipwreck and we will lose everything but our lives. Let me assure you that there will be some wrecks even worse than what we are living in now but we will survive in Christ. So gird yourselves in the middle of all this evil. Stay in the word, and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that being in Christ is a guarantee of eternal life. Love Bro. Scott
