Is God involved in your life?

Most people wonder this from time to time. What I pray you will see in our text today, is how God sent an angel, to help a lost person to be strong so as to help the Jews.

God is involved.

By the encouragement and strengthening of this Angel. Darius the Mede released the Jews to return home.

Daniel 11:1 NASB95 “In the first year of Darius the Mede, I arose to be an encouragement and a protection for him.

After much prayer by Daniel, we see that Gabriel reveals that God had answered with an order for him to go.

Gabriel was sent by God for encouragement.

This means to provide courage and to strengthen. So as to help Darius to not quit but to continue to follow the guidance provided by the Lord. While still under pressure from the other side to stop.

Gabriel was also sent to provide protection. This was to ensure that the attack of the enemy would not kill him.

God had this planned all along as we read in Jeremiah, we see the time had been set.

Today when you wonder if God hears or is involved, remember this verse. It says, "In the first year of Darius the Mede." This means God is prepared with a plan from the very beginning. He had Gabriel ready to go from the very first year.

It goes on to say, " I arose, which means he takes action. He is not just sitting there watching. He is prepared and ready. At the perfect time of need, He is there. Not far off but right there with you.

He does this preparation to spring into action at the perfect time. As the text says, "to be an encouragement and a protection for him."

To give you courage to continue on in the strength and power of the Lord. Then also to protect you from the attack of the enemy.

Is God involved in your life?

The answer is absolutely YES!

So be encouraged, He is protecting you so you can serve Him in all ways!

Love Bro. Scott
