Isaiah 52:3 NASB95 For thus says the LORD, “You were sold for nothing and you will be redeemed without money.”

God created man from the dust of the ground, giving us a monetary worth of very little. However, He saw the value of His Spirit living inside humanity and gave us a value unimaginable.

Satan comes in and says you are dirty, you have no worth, but if you follow me in sin, I will make you worthy. Therefore, man leaves God having no monetary worth, and sells himself for nothing.

God, on the other hand, says I have breathed into you the breath of life. While worth is measured in money, your value in a life spent in praise of me is invaluable.

Therefore, although you sold yourself for nothing, I will purchase you back not with money, silver, or gold but at a value unfathomable and with an immeasurable cost. You see, money's worth is not comparable to your value with my breath/soul inside of you.

So, on a certain Friday, I will purchase you with the value of life, by giving the life of its creator in your place. The One who is life will give up His life for the ones who had life but chose death.

The worth of that death was a wooden cross and three nails. The value of that death IS ETERNAL. The value will never end.

So when Satan comes to you and says you are worthless, you can respond, "Worthless, maybe so, but my value was paid at the cost of Christ, and you don't have the life to purchase me back. I am forever His."

That is, if you are His!

Today is GOOD FRIDAY. It is the day God valued me at the cost of His Son.

I laugh at money and turn from the devil, but I surrender to the immeasurable value of Christ's Blood and praise the one who thought me valuable enough to shed it. I bow on my knees and cry Holy to the Lamb of God.

Valuable = Redeemed without money, but at an immeasurable cost.

Love Bro. Scott
