Hebrews 10:29 NASB95 How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

To trample underfoot the Son of God, is to lift Him up so that He will draw all men unto Him. Then to shrink back to your life before Christ. This is to say that Christ's blood was insufficient to sustain you. I pray you know this to be untrue. The Blood of Christ is sufficient for the salvation of ALL. It is not His blood which is not sufficient but your application of faith.

Colossians 1:20 NASB95 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

His blood purifies to the purest, and if we shrink back from that fact, then as verse 38 tells us. God finds NO pleasure in us

Hebrews 10:38 NASB95 BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONE SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM.

Our text tells us the punishment that is deserved on the one who tramples over the Son of God deserves to be severe.

Examine your life have you lifted up Christ and then trampled over Him?

How much more have you laid upon the one who paid your debt?

Don't turn away from and pile up on the one who loved you enough to take on the punishment for your turning away.

Turn back to Christ! Do not unsult the Spirit of God's Grace!

Turn back to Christ! Do not unsult the Spirit of God's Grace!

Turn back to Christ! Do not unsult the Spirit of God's Grace!

Turn back to Christ! Do not unsult the Spirit of God's Grace!

Turn back to Christ! Do not unsult the Spirit of God's Grace!

Turn back to Christ! Do not unsult the Spirit of God's Grace!

Turn back to Christ! Do not unsult the Spirit of God's Grace!
