Isaiah 49:6 NASB95 He says, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Isn't it amazing that the raising up and the restoration of a nation is a small thing to the Lord?

Maybe we should look at this in a different way. Maybe it isn't that it is a small thing. Instead, maybe the power of the shed blood of the Son of God, who is in complete obedience to the will of the Father, is so full of salvation power that raising up and restoring a nation alone would be a small and minimal use of that spilled blood.

Maybe God is saying rather than wasting all that excessive salvation power, I will have you use it to reach the entire world.

For those who think like me, I will say it another way. Why would you spend one hundred trillion dollars for a hamburger when, for the same amount at the same restaurant, you can feed the entire world?

Jesus your blood contains so much saving power that I will spread that salvation out and offer it to the whole world. I believe this is what God is saying. He is not saying that the salvation of a nation is small but that the salvation power of Christ is all-encompassing. So He will not let it go to waste.

God chose to use His Church so the salvation power in the blood of Christ will not be wasted. He left that responsibility to not waste the blood of Christ on me!

He left that responsibility to you (if you are a Christian, Christ follower). How much of the power of the blood of Christ has been wasted because we are not being responsible to God?

He has the POWER to save ALL. Many refuse. Yet many are waiting to hear the gospel from us.

Don't let the power of the Blood of Christ, not be used.

He would have poured out His blood for one, but it has the power to save all! Let's share that power so his blood will not be used for such a small thing in comparison to what it has the power to do!
