Psalm 28:7 NASB95 The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.

In the cartoon Popeye, he would eat a can of Spinach whenever he needed strength. Even though this is make believe they understood that this strength could only be temporary. We as people need to understand that same thing. Any strength that is not of the Lord is temporary and is not real. David told everyone through this Psalm that the LORD is my strength.

Where are you searching for strength? If it is not from the LORD then you are wasting your time. God desires to give all his people strength but you need to seek Him for it.

There is a point at which you need more than strength. It is when you are under attack, and you can't fight back. It is at this point you need protection. David knew where to get that protection as well. It comes from the LORD too.

So when you need these things, if you will trust in the Lord with all your heart, He will be so happy to strengthen and protect you. Are you putting the trust of your heart in him?

Now, when He helps you, make sure to let the world know. That permanent strength and protection is found in the Lord!

Sing it from the mountain tops thank Him from your heart. The Lord is there, and though you might feel low and weak, He is strong and high, providing your every need!

Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.

Make sure to recognize where your strength and protection comes from!

Love Bro. Scott
