2 Timothy 4:3 NASB95 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires.

As we get closer to the end time, (everyday is closer) more and more people will refuse to hear the truth of sound doctrine. To be sound is to be uncorrupted, to be whole - not partial.

We must be cautious that we look at scripture as a whole and not to take outside influence so as to twist or corrupt the Scripture. Those who are lost without Jesus will refuse sound doctrine and only hear the words that they in their depraved state are willing to hear. The words they will hear must be untruth, twisted, incomplete scripture, so as to please their sinful desire.

We as Christians, must be careful that we are not influenced by them but instead we must be an influence.

They will hire and promote teachers that twist their teachings to fit earthly desires. With the increase in social media platforms many receive a large audience to influence many with very little effort.

Paul 1900 years ago gives a warning that this will happen.

In this sound doctrine of the apostle Paul will we listen.

Love Bro. Scott
