Faith is the key to pleasing the Lord.

Faith is the road that God's grace travels to reach us.

Faith is the currency with which we purchase gifts for our Lord.

Faith is the combination to the vault where we store up treasures in heaven.

Faith is our garment woven from righteousness.

Faith is an ingredient found in God's recipe for man.

Faith is music to God's ears.

Faith is the eyes of our soul.

Faith is required in worship.

Faith is the sound waves that carry our prayers to God.

Faith is the perfect vision that reveals what is not seen.

Hebrews 11:1-4 NASB Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained the testimony that he was righteous, God testifying about his gifts, and through faith, though he is dead, he still speaks.

By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain. Why was it better? Because it was brought by faith. It showed that Abel, by faith, looked forward to the redeemer who would come and provide the once-for-all blood sacrifice. The picture of the sacrifice was pointing toward the final sacrifice that God revealed to man in Genesis 3:15 and as He clothed Adam and Eve with animal skins.

This faith, looking forward to the sacrifice of the coming Messiah, placed God's righteous covering on Abel. This testified to God's righteous gifts poured out into the pitcher of faith. It also, through faith, gave Abel a testimony that speaks even through His death. It says that by faith in Jesus, Abel received eternal life.

Faith is the only way to receive the eternal blessing God desires to give all men. This is why God gives a measure of faith to all. Romans 12:3 NASB95 For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

Unfortunately, many never use the faith God has given them. With it, they can know what they can not see; they can have what they do not deserve.

Faith in Christ brings eternal life to your death.

Faith is needed. Faith is given. I pray faith is placed in Jesus, because if it is not, faith is wasted!
