Isaiah 4:5 NASB1995 then the Lord will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy.
God's creation is protected under His canopy so as to reveal His Glory!
Such a great truth from the word of God.
God has always protected His creation. Without His protection, His creation would fall into doom. This is because His perfect design gives His highest creation free will so as to choose the glory of God. He doesn't desire a creation that follows Him without choice but chooses His Glory. God, out of His sovereignty and love, has protected His people with guidance. In a time when the Holy Spirit did not indwell, God led with a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire. This both guided and protected. Many times in scripture God reveals his protection over His people. There was a firmament over the earth holding back the flood until God opened this due to sin. God is always providing a canopy of protection which reveals His Glory.
So when you realize God's protection realize also His Glory.
Share it with others and relax in the glory of His covering.
Don't let the weight of the world cause you to miss His Glory. His protection is covering you like a canopy. That is a glorious thing!
