Hebrews 13:7 NASB95 Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.

Think back who was it that had a hand in leading you to Jesus? Was it parents, friends, grandparents, a coworker, Sunday School teacher, or maybe a preacher? Was it one of these who discipled you or maybe a church brother or sister?

Why did they do it? It took time for them to stop and share the love of Jesus with you. It took time to walk along side you, teach you the word of God, and guide you to be more like Christ everyday. There had to be a reason they did this. They did it because of love. They have the love of Christ in them and that love needs to be shown to others. 1 John 4:7-11 NASB95 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

As our text tells us consider the results of this conduct. Christ's love is in them thus they then showed their love to you. Will that love continue on or will it stop with you.

If we will Remember those who led us, those who spoke the word of God to us; and considering the result of their conduct. Then we will imitate their faith.

In doing so our faith will be placed in Christ and the Church will continue to prevail in the world.

Christ desires us do this, but we have gotten so wrapped up in ourselves that we have forgotten to Hebrews 13:7 NASB95 Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.

If we remember their love, we will remember their faith and we will grow our faith as we speak the word of God into others.

As we remember their love how does ours look?

Love Bro. Scott
