Zephaniah 3:9 NASB95 “For then I will give to the peoples purified lips, That all of them may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him shoulder to shoulder.

Oh, how I would love to see this in the world today. I have people whom I love dearly, and it is one of my greatest desires for them to call on the name of the Lord. I desire for them to know Him as Lord, to revere Him as God, to have faith in Him as Savior, to speak of Him with a personal knowledge, and to serve Him as God Almighty (El Shaddai). It would be amazing to share all of this with them in a language everyone understood. So I could say, "Jesus is God's Son," and everyone would hear, "Yahweh's salvation is in Yahweh's Son, Jesus." Then we would all line up in one action of service to Him.

I would be tremendously pleased if the church today would experience this as well. If everyone who is part of the Church, the Bride of Christ, would all join together in one desire to profess in one language that Yahweh's Salvation is in Yahweh's Son, Jesus (Yahweh's Salvation). Then in this service, others would hear, place faith in, and receive Jesus as Lord. They would be saved, becoming part of (a member of) the body of Christ. Continuing in full service in membership in the local church. Until everyone alive is a child of God.

Unfortunately, this will not happen until the 1000-year reign of Jesus, which is when our scripture text is speaking of. However, until that time comes, we are not to relax and wait for His reign. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19,20 makes it clear we have a job to do. If we don't do it, then we will be like Jerusalem who also didn't obey. Read what the previous verses say in Zephaniah 3:7-8: “I said, ‘Surely you will revere Me, Accept instruction.’ So her dwelling will not be cut off According to all that I have appointed concerning her. But they were eager to corrupt all their deeds. “Therefore wait for Me,” declares the LORD, “For the day when I rise up as a witness. Indeed, My decision is to gather nations, To assemble kingdoms, To pour out on them My indignation, All My burning anger; For all the earth will be devoured By the fire of My zeal.

We can not just sit back and wait for the destruction. So we must serve, and say to all whom we can, that:
