John 16:26-27 NASB1995 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father.

What a wonderful truth that because of Jesus' faithful obedience, we can come to the throne of grace. We do not need anyone to go to God on our behalf once we are washed in the blood of Jesus. We can enter into His presence in prayer ourselves. Jesus says, I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf. You see in our sin we couldn't go to the throne. Habakkuk 1:13a NASB1995 Your eyes are too pure to approve evil, And You can not look on wickedness with favor.

However, in the name of Jesus, we can come to God cleansed by His blood. God looks upon us in love. Jesus says the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father.

With faith in Jesus, we now have the privilege of going straight to God in the name of Jesus. God gave us evidence of this when Jesus gave up His Spirit on the cross and the huge curtain keeping the Holy of Holies unaccessible was torn in two from top to bottom. God reached down and opened His throne to those who place faith in the Son of God.

Do you have a need? Do you need to be in His presence? Then, in prayer, go to the Father in the name of Jesus. He is waiting to say to you, "Come in, my child."

Love Bro. Scott
