Have you ever heard of William Sidis? Some of you probably have, but for the others, he was considered the Smartest man to ever live. He was said to have the highest IQ ever. He taught himself 8 languages by the time he was 6. He passed the Harvard medical school exam and the entrance exam for MIT at the age of 8. Wrote several books and entered Harvard at 11. It was predicted as he lectured in front of the staff at Harvard and MIT at the age of 11 that he would be a great mathematician, the leader in that science in the future." However, he was arrested and placed in a sanatarium for a year worked many menial jobs and died at the age of 46. William Sidis remains the premiere case study of a "failed" child prodigy.

Louis Cyr. Is consider by many to be the strongest man to ever live. He is credited with lifting 500 pounds with one finger and backlifting 4,337 pounds. Former International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation chairman Ben Weider stated in 2000, that Cyr is the strongest man ever. He died at the age of 49. The strongest man ever, what did he really accomplish?

Our text today says, 1 Corinthians 1:25 NASB1995 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

If the wisest person and the strongest people do not accomplish much then what hope is there for us? The answer is found in living in Jesus. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

God's foolishness (His lowest of His low) is far above man's highest of highs. God's weakness is stronger than any man's greatest strength.

Peter, Andrew, James, and John were fishermen and not even great at that. Yet they, along with 8 others, changed the world forever because they lived in Christ. Christ is God, and His weakness is strongest, and His foolishness is the wisest.

Paul, who said he was the chief among sinners, and yet in Christ Jesus, he penned a large portion of the Bible.

What can you do in this world to amount to anything? Nothing apart from Christ. However, with Christ, you can change the world by showing Christ and seeing the increase of the Kingdom of God for all eternity.

Let's weigh this out.

Without Christ no real lasting accomplishment. WITH CHRIST GREAT AND REAL ACCOMPLISHMENT THAT LAST FOR ALL ETERNITY.

It only makes perfect sense to live in Christ because, the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Now that is wise and strong!
