Ezekiel 12:2 NASB95 “Son of man, you live in the midst of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see but do not see, ears to hear but do not hear; for they are a rebellious house.
God spoke to Ezekiel about the state of his nation. He could and is saying the same to us.
Our nation and the world are a rebellious house. Christians used to be a part of that house/family but when we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we left that house/family and joined one of obedience.
After all, He is now our LORD.

His love is given to us in that, He redeemed us. That is, He purchased us back from where we had sold ourselves to death by our sins.
Then, in His love, He gives us direction.
If you accept His redemption but not His direction, then you are not receiving His Lordship of your life.
If this is the case you are refusing His Love.
When He is your Lord, you are now in His house/family. However, His house/family/kingdom is presently in the neighborhood of the rebellious. His Kingdom is in us and we are in the world. This can be difficult to understand so let me explain it this way. We are missionaries of heaven sent to live in the world. Our citizenship is of heaven, but we stay for the present time in the world. We are not to become part of the world, but instead bring citizens of earth to change their nationality from mortal man to a Spiritual child of God.
Mortal man tends to have eyes to see but do not see, ears to hear but do not hear; for they are a rebellious house.
God tells Ezekiel in the next verse, Ezekiel 12:3 NASB95 “Therefore, son of man, prepare for yourself baggage for exile and go into exile by day in their sight; even go into exile from your place to another place in their sight. Perhaps they will understand though they are a rebellious house.
Be an example, and perhaps they will see and understand that they are a rebellious house.
Are we being an example of our citizenship of heaven? Are we showing that Christ is our Lord? Are we showing His love through our obedience to Him because of His redemption?
God, sent this message to Ezekiel, so that maybe the rebellious would see and hear. Then repent and make Jesus their Lord.
This can only happen if Ezekiel lives in the Lordship of Christ
Today, God, has sent this message to you, so that maybe the rebellious would see and hear. Then repent and make Jesus their Lord.
This can only happen if you live in the Lordship of Christ!
Have you? Are you? Will you?
