Genesis 41:8 NASB95 Now in the morning his spirit was troubled, so he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all its wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

How often is our Spirit convicted and we refuse to listen? I know someone who gets convicted, seeks help with the conviction, but when the help agrees with the conviction they refuse to follow.

This is like driving and seeing a sign that says take the next exit to your desired destination. You disagree, so you decide to put your destination into your GPS, and it says Take the next exit to your desired destination. You still disagree, so you pull out a map and it shows that you need to take the next exit to your desired destination. After all of this, you are still unhappy with the information you received. So you just keep driving on past the exit.

God desires you to follow His Spiritual guidance. However, you need to check your guidance with the right source and then follow it. When you are lost, don't ask directions from a person with out-of-state tags, who says they have never been here before. Yet that is what many do.

Instead, why not seek Godly wise counsel? God has provided this through His word (the Holy Bible), through His people (the church), through His under shepherd (overseers, Pastors), and through His Holy Spirit. This, of course, requires seeking and following. You must read the Bible and obey. You must go to church and listen. You must reach out to the Pastors and ask to speak to them and be honest. You must pray and listen to God the Spirit. Then you will receive answers.

Pharaoh had to listen to the cupbearer, send for Joseph, and wait for him to be cleaned.

You must be willing to seek the answer.

You must be willing to wait for the answer. Joseph was sought and then Pharaoh waited for him.

You must be willing to check the answers. The magicians couldn't give a proper answer.

You must be willing to follow the answer. Pharaoh followed Joseph's advice.

You must be willing to surrender to God's guidance. Pharaoh gave control to Joseph.

God will use the Spirit to convict. How you respond will determine your future. Follow Christ and have plenty in heaven. He pours out to overflowing

Refuse to follow and spend eternity without.

Without God. Without company. Without fulfilment. Without comfort. Without peace. Without joy. Without fullness. Without rest. Without everything. Because you are without Christ!

When your Spirit convicts, listen to it, seek God, and check it against God's word. Wait for the answer, and surrender to God.

Have seven, the perfect, complete divine full number of eternity in the perfection of God.

Love Bro. Scott
