It is so sad that most people live on earth seeking happiness and joy during that SHORT time. However, they completely ignore their quickly coming eternity that will make their life on earth seem like less than a microsecond (1 millionth of a second). God's desire for man is His presence. We fret over people who want nothing to do with us, and we give little or no thought to God, who desires us.

Psalm 27:8 NASB95 When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.”

Imagine the most beautiful sight you can and then realize it will pale in comparison to the face of the Lord. Imagine the most joyful time on this earth and then realize it will be like death in comparison to the joy of God's presence.

EVERYTHING in the world that you consider good, joyful, and euphoric combined together during life on this earth will be seen as complete despair. When seen in comparison to the bliss of the blessing of being at the foot of the throne of God.

Because God's true word tells us this then why not seek the face of the Lord? This is done by reading and studying His word, then spending time with Him in prayer, and lastly being part of His Church. You will be amazed at the blessings of spending time with Him.

David said in Psalm 27:4 NASB95 One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD And to meditate in His temple.

Psalm 27:8 NASB95 When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.”

Don't strive for joy in life but strive for God and be blessed forever.

This is my prayer for you today. Seek His face!

Love Bro. Scott
