Revelation 4:8 And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.”

When something is said three times in a row in scripture it is telling us to pay close attention because what it is saying is extremely important. It is saying that what it is revealing to us is PERFECTION there can be nothing more than what it is describing.

When the word it is saying is the Greek word hagios (translated as Holy) then it is even more imperative that we pay attention because the word itself means the same thing. Hagios is described as sacred, pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially, consecrated, and the most holy one. So when God's creations in Heaven who are full of eyes meaning they have seen EVERYTHING are saying HOLY HOLY HOLY is the Lord God Almighty, it means that He is HOLY ABOVE HOLY. You say I don't understand that. Well, neither do I but after having Him as my Savior and Lord for 40 years, I can honestly say although I can't explain it or comprehend it I know it to be true. He has proven Himself to me so many times that I have zero doubt and I am above full knowledge and understanding on who He is.

I can't wait for the day when I can join in with these four living creatures at the foot of the throne and praise Him in such a way!

Until that day comes won't you join me in saying to the Lord, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.

Love Bro. Scott
