Joshua 12:24 NASB95 the king of Tirzah, one: in all, thirty-one kings.

Thirty-one earthly kings and their people were defeated by a group with no earthly king. It seems impossible, yet it happened. Just look at Scripture.

This group of people had spent 40 years traveling the wilderness. They lived in tents, moved their livestock, and set up their place of worship, only to dismantle it and continue wandering the wilderness. They did all of this with a leader who, by his own admission, was not a good speaker or leader. It seems impossible, yet it happened. Just look at scripture.

Just days before they would enter into the land to conquer these thirty-one kings, their leader died. The newly appointed leader who had been trained by the leader who was not great, took over. He was very quickly deceived by one of the groups who lived in the land. Yet they with very little loss defeated thirty-one kings. It seems impossible, yet it happened. Just look at scripture.

How could this happen? Thirty-one Kings, are organized and prepared. They with fortified cities are defeated by a nation of wanderers with no earthly King.

I know it seems impossible, yet it happened, solely because of God! When they were obedient to Him, they were successful in His guidance. When they were disobedient to Him, then they would be unsuccessful as the Lord had warned. It is all in scripture.

This God is still God today. He still brings about His glorious plan for those who follow Him as Lord. He still allows those who refuse to be obedient to realize the utter defeat of not being obedient.

For many this seems impossible but a look back at History reveals that scripture is correct. This means that Yahweh God (the Self-Existent One), is God. That He is Lord, and Savior through His Son Jesus, (Jehovah's Salvation), and that He is our counselor and guide through His Spirit.

He is one unified divine God, eternally existing as three distinct, co-equal, and co-eternal Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

This seems impossible yet it is true. Just look at Scripture.

Do you struggle with one sin? Do you struggle with two sins? Maybe you struggle with three different sins. The Bible mentions many different sins. Some people have counted over one hundred sins mentioned in scripture. It seems impossible to overcome this much sin. However, if we look at Scripture we see that with God ALL sin was defeated on the cross.

I would rather have one true God defeat sin for me than thirty-one kings.

Because scripture tells me thirty-one kings were defeated by God and all sin was defeated by God's Son, and I can be guided by God the Spirit.

Not only that I am experiencing this in my earthly life. That means my eternal life is true as well. Just like I read in scripture.

I pray you are experiencing it too.

If not you can. It may seem impossible and with earthly man it is, but with God all things are possible.

Guess where I found that.

Scripture. Matthew 19:26 NASB95 And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Thirty-one kings are nothing for God. Sin is defeated by God the Son. God the Spirit revealed this to me in Scripture.
