Lamentations 2:19 NASB1995 Arise, cry aloud in the night At the beginning of the night watches; Pour out your heart like water Before the presence of the Lord; Lift up your hands to Him For the life of your little ones Who are faint because of hunger At the head of every street.”

In this lament, we see a description of people in how they come to the Lord at the beginning of their tribulation. They cry aloud as it begins like a nightfall. As a child cries out afraid of the dark, so the people will cry for help from the Lord. The child grabs ahold of his or her parents seeking protection and love. They pour out their heart to mom and dad desiring to be held. This is how the people will pour out their hearts to the Lord. As a child reaches up to their parents wanting to be picked up, the people in tribulation will lift up their hands desiring God to pick them up out of their fears. There will be multitudes of people seeking the Lord, crying like little babes starving for food.

This brings us to the question.

Why wait for the night?

Why not cry out for Him now?

Matthew 18:3b NASB1995 “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Cry out now!

He will come running like a Father to His child.

Love Bro. Scott
