Acts 14:17 NASB95 and yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.”

It amazes me when I hear of different tribes being reached with the gospel and find that their original beliefs are tied in some way to Christianity. Many are very faint and have been diluted and twisted by Satan as to almost be unrecognizable. Yet there it is some ritual or history that came originally from Jesus or God the father and from there they are able to receive the true Gospel. Please note twisted and changed beliefs lead to hell, but can be straightened and/or corrected which lead to Jesus. This must happen because He is THE WAY. I first noticed this many years ago in a movie about a very small tribe of indigenous people in the Amazon region. Then I was talking to a man a few years ago who was very involved with mission work among buddist and he shared with me how they are able to take a part of their buddist beliefs and point them to Jesus. Muslims have a text in the Quran that speaks of Mary and the virgin birth of Jesus. In my studies of Japan I found a group of ancestors worshippers that believe Jesus came to Japan. Much of this is tied to the truth of the gospel, but as I said, it has been twisted or diluted in some way by Satan. However as our text today reveals no man, no woman, no child, no tribe has been left without a witness to God.

The rains delivered when needed point to God, this is a witness. Jesus explains to the Samaritan woman at the well that he provides living water. The rain drops from the heavens pointing to God, this is a witness. They come from clouds as Jesus will return. They provide fruit in season, this is a witness. Jesus is the vine, we are the branches, we draw nourishment from Him, and the living water to produce much fruit. The text says fruit is food that satisfies the heart with gladness, this is a witness. Scripture teaches. Galatians 5:22 NASB95 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

God gives a witness to all. When we seek the truth of the witness He will send one who will proclaim the Gospel.

God loves His creation so much that no one is ever without a witness. Believers are called to be a witness. Are we?
