Nahum 1:15 NASB95 Behold, on the mountains the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace! Celebrate your feasts, O Judah; Pay your vows. For never again will the wicked one pass through you; He is cut off completely.

Isaiah 52:7 NASB95 How lovely on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

Romans 10:15 NASB95 How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!”

Nineveh, Babylon, Hell.

No matter the verse, the place, or the people, the good news comes from God and is shared by man that the Lord saves!

These three verses talk of God saving man from an evil kingdom. Each is different but much the same. They are controlled by the same king. His name is Satan. Yet all prophesy of a time that has happened as of now, is happening in the present, and is yet to come.

Nineveh and Babylon have released their slaves. God saved them from these kingdoms and the good news was brought. Hell has been conquered, and death defeated, and the proclamation of the opportunity for slaves to be released is happening. Unfortunately many haven't heard or refuse to listen

Nahum 3:19 NASB95 There is no relief for your breakdown, Your wound is incurable. ALL WHO HEAR ABOUT YOU Will clap their hands over you, For on whom has not your evil passed continually?

Isaiah 55:3 NASB95 “INCLINE YOUR EAR AND COME TO ME. LISTEN, THAT YOU MAY LIVE; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, According to the faithful mercies shown to David.

Romans 10:17 NASB95 So faith comes from HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF CHRIST.

(EMPHASIS MINE)

You have heard and you know that God has saved and is saving, but will you hear?

He will return and proclaim from the mountain. Only, this time for those who haven't already heard and placed their faith in Him, who is the good news, it will not be good news.

Revelation 21:8 NASB95 “But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Those who refuse to hear the good news proclaimed for all to hear.

Revelation 22:16-17 NASB95 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.

Do you hear?

Will you come?
