As a father one of the toughest things to do is watch a child suffer or struggle in life. I am sure it is the same for a mother. My desire from love is to take care of the problem. This is a man thing, it is a leader thing, and it is a love thing. Men are fixers. Leaders are leaders, and those who love, care, and hurt for those they love. No matter if you are a man or a woman, you lead your children, and you love them. Therefore you desire to keep them from hurt, struggle, and suffering. However, sometimes it is best for them to go through these things. When they refuse to follow, then sometimes you have to postpone your leadership until they are so lost, that they give up. If you always fix it for them, they do not learn to seek a solution themselves. When you love them to the point of not telling them that they are wrong you can actually hurt them.

Of course, the best at fixing, leading, and loving is our Creator God. He fixes just the right amount. He leads just as much as we will follow, and He loves to perfection. He never fixes what we refuse His help with. Peter tells us in Scripture that we should put all our troubles on Him.

1 Peter 5:7 NASB95 casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

Since He is perfect in every way, we need to give our children, our loved ones, our friends, ourselves, our subordinates, and our church to Him. He will handle the situation perfectly.

We as Christians often mess up when we, in misguided love, give those listed above to Christ, only to take them back on us when we feel like He is not doing it our way, or fast enough.

We must remember, that He handles our anxiety perfectly, because He cares for us.

Liberation from anxiety comes as one casts it upon God, not because God grants every wish, but because prayer grants freedom from care. God doesn't grant every wish because His care is perfect, whereas ours is flawed. However, He does grant freedom, from our anxiety when we LEAVE IT WITH HIM!

To cast or casting has a thought of separating so far that you can get it back.

So when you feel anxiety about something or someone that you love, remember, don't keep it, but give it to God and let Him take it far away. Then you and they will be perfectly cared for.

Love Bro. Scott
