We all have heard the saying, the student has become the master. The goal of the master is to train up the student until the student overtakes the master, and becomes a greater master than he was. This is the desire of Paul and it should be for all Christians. Listen to what Paul writes. 2 Corinthians 13:9 NASB95 For we rejoice when we ourselves are weak but you are strong; this we also pray for, that you be made complete.

John the Baptist said of Jesus, 'He must increase but I must decrease. While John spoke of the one who was/is and always will be omnipotent, the idea is still the same.

Our goal as Christians should be the greater witness of Christ to the world. So we must be discipled and become disciple makers.

Paul said For we rejoice when we ourselves are weak but you are strong; this we also pray for.

Do you rejoice and pray for your disciples' growth? Do you even disciple? In pride, many don't desire this or work toward it because in pride, they fear their decrease.

Look at Paul, he was not concerned with his decrease. He just desired their increase, and he is still used today. God is pleased with those who desire that His witnesses increase.

Why is this? Paul says, "that you be made complete." The goal is fullness in Christ for the fullness of the Kingdom.

Have you had a student who became the master?

Have you even become a master? These are two things you should strive for.

Love Bro. Scott
