I very seldom watch the news. Instead, I prefer to research things that are going on myself. However, last night I watched. Within minutes, I found myself thinking God, come back now. This world is in a mess. I found I was getting depressed. Before going to bed, my wife and I read the Bible as we always do, and the place we were at was speaking of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. I thought this needs to be told to everyone. Instead of all the awful news, they must realize how much they are loved. I wish I had the platform to tell everyone.

Then it hit me, I am not even telling those around me like I should. Now I come to today and I do my personal Bible reading. God shows me how the world has continually declined as more and more turn from Him. Then I pray for scripture for this devo and God takes me to this verse.

James 5:8 NASB95 You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.

Be patient. Don't rush God, there are so many needing to hear. The world keeps getting worse but imagine if we all started to share Jesus! Don't look at the world and say Hurry, look at the world and realize the day is drawing near, so be patient. Then strengthen your heart in the power of the Spirit and be a bold and living witness for Christ. There isn't much time left, even if it is more than your lifetime, it isn't much. The coming of the Lord is near.

Be patient, in this hellish world don't rush Him. Strengthen your heart in the Spirit and SHARE the WAY. Because the coming of the Lord is near! When I think of all the lost people around this world my heart BREAKS and I am thankful the Lord is Long-suffering. 2 Peter 3:9 NASB95 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Lord, I pray help me be patient, strong-hearted in Your Spirit, because I know You are coming soon and I wish for none to perish! Amen!

Brothers and Sisters, let's be patient on the Lord but strong-hearted in Sharing the Way!

He is coming soon.

Love Bro. Scott
