Galatians 6:10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
In the 70's there was a TV show called MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital). They existed and followed the front line to care for those who were in need. They sought to give medical care surgery for those who had been injured by the war. In one episode, the whole MASH staff, except for a few, got sick. So the few who were well, took care of those inside the unit while also caring for those outside. This is a picture of how this verse describes the church. There is a spiritual war going on for the souls of men. God has placed His
C. H. U. R. C. H. (Community Hospital for Urgent Redemptive Care from Heaven) on the front line of the war to provide care for each other and those who are outside the kingdom. We must be mindful of the fact that our purpose is urgent care, especially redemptive for ALL. Today the Church has decided that it is easier to care for those in the unit than for those who are outside. Therefore we have decided if they don't come to us for care they must not need any. We will just doctor ourselves and leave them be. Then we went even further and said, there are enough people in the Church to care for each other, so I will just care for myself. In the Army a, soldier like this would be court martialed. Yet in the Church we have, (much like the TV show) just laughed it off. God has put a disciplinary plan in place but Churches don't like to follow it. We must realize that God's outpost (the Church) is under His control and the orders have been sent and delivered. They read plain and clear. "While we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith."
Attention!
