We spend our lives making excuses for the things we do, for how we act, and for our decisions. If we are not making excuses then we are debating why what we have done or how our thoughts were correct.

We attempt to justify when God is the only justification that is true or acceptable. We want people to not just tolerate but to accept what we do as being right when God is the only righteous way.

Mankind has been this way since the beginning of sin. Eve said it is the serpents fault. Adam said it is the woman's fault. Then he even attempted to throw the blame on God by saying it is the woman YOU gave me.

Man has attempted this but has never succeeded. This is simply because when we seek to speak for ourselves, God speaks truth, and man has no response.

Jesus spoke to the Pharisees and asked, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath, or not?” But they kept silent. Jesus then spoke again and said. “Which one of you will have a son or an ox fall into a well, and will not immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?”

Once again the scripture tells us. Luke 14:6 NASB95 And they could make no reply to this.

Why seek to defend yourself now and attempt to make a justification for your sin when you KNOW that when you stand before God you will be able to make no reply?

Praise the Lord Jesus will speak on behalf of us who have placed our faith in Him.

Today, instead of seeking to justify your sin and failing, how about attempting to live in accordance with His word.

Then no response from you is needed!

Love Bro.
