We recently had a horrible accident not far from where I live. It involved a school bus. Two 13-year-old students lost their lives. Several other students were severely injured. I was told yesterday that there were a lot of discussions going back and forth about seatbelts on school buses. I don't want to get into this debate.

What I do want to say, is that accidents will never stop happening. What I want to say, is that death is inevitable. What I want to say, is that just two weeks ago a precious baby who was not yet 1 and had fought cancer all her life died. That is three precious children who died in my area not having been able to live even into adolescence. Plus several more have sustained injuries that will plague them for many years. I am sure there are a multitude of others that I am unaware of.

Do we understand that life is not guaranteed? Do we understand that death will happen to everyone who lives, unless Jesus returns before they die?

I praise the Lord for medical personnel, for first responders, for good Samaritans, and for people who seek to make life safer. However, death is real and there is only One Way to eternal life. His name is Jesus.

HE IS THE ONLY SOLUTION, and He is available to everyone.

Ephesians 3:6 NASB95 to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,

Paul says I am going to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs.

A gentile is anyone who isn't a Jew, and Paul says, they are fellow heirs with the Jews.

This means we who are adopted into Christ's family receive an inheritance, along with the Jews who are in Christ's family.

We, become fellow members of the family. My wife and I had two children. They are both married and now we have four children. When we die they all four receive an inheritance. Unfortunately what I have to leave them on earth is of little to no value. However, what I have to leave them in eternity is of immeasurable value. They are members of the Dunaway family but my desire is that they all become members of the Christ family. Christ has made them a promise of eternal life.

However, Paul explains that this adoption into the family is in Christ Jesus through the Gospel.

The Gospel is the Good News. That Jesus is the Son of God, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, was buried in death, but rose to live again forever, according to the scriptures.

This is THE ONLY HOPE anyone has of escaping eternal death.

I have prayed for these families who have lost their precious little girls, and we need to love on them. They will need it as they mourn.

There is nothing wrong with seeking to make life safer but remember death is inevitable and The Only Hope is Christ Jesus through His Gospel.

I am more concerned that this gets shared than any temporary life saving method.

Because Christ Rose to Eternal Life!!! You can have eternal life. That even though you die, you will live.

You can purchase life insurance and health insurance, and even have a doctor accompany you. Yet we will all still die. Death is only eternal when you don't have the one who holds eternal life in His hand.

Seek, find, and become, an eternal heir with the body of Jesus. It doesn't matter whether you are Jew, or Gentile it only matters that you have true faith in Jesus!!! This is a promise!

Love Bro. Scott
