What have you done for the Lord? Let me start by telling you all that I have done for the Lord. I was saved at 15, and I am 56 now. So as you can imagine in those 41 years my list should be long. So here goes.
I have at times been obedient.
There is my list. This is what I have done for the Lord in my 41 years of salvation. In other words, at times I have surrendered to Him.
Now someone might say. You played a part in Sharing the Gospel with me and I was saved. To which I respond, at times I surrendered in obedience.
You see upon my surrender in obedience I no longer did anything else. From that point forward it was all God. So when I surrendered it was the Lord and during the times when I didn't surrender, I did nothing for the Lord.
He gave me freewill and in that freewill when I was obedient and surrendered, then God did some awesome things. However, I didn't.
It wasn't me that did things for the Lord. It isn't I who does things now for the Lord. It is the Lord who does it in me. We see this on a much larger and greater scale with Paul.
Acts 19:11 NASB95 God was performing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul.
Scripture shows us it was God who was performing miracles while using the surrendered hands of Paul.
Why did God do extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul? Because, Paul surrendered completely to God.
What have you done for the Lord? I pray your list includes complete surrender in obedience. If it does then God has performed and will perform extraordinary miracles by your hands.
After the Lord finishes doing such amazing extraordinary miracles by your hands, then you can add absolutely nothing to your list of things you have done for the Lord.
Because, it was all Him.
I pray we will completely surrender in obedience to the Lord. So He will continue to reach the world with miracles by our hands under His control!
Can you list all the things you have done for the Lord? It is easier than you think.
Love Bro. Scott
