Revelation 21:6 NASB95 Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.

Let's look at the beginning.

Genesis 1:1 NASB95 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

In the beginning God. Yes, He is the Alpha, the beginning.

Let's look at the end.

Revelation 22:20-21 NASB95 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

Jesus said I am coming quickly. Yes, He is the Omega, the end.

What does He do? I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.

He quenchs our greatest need with life. Our greatest need is eternal life and He is offering it to us at NO COST. Oh, it cost Him, but He offers it to us at no cost.

He closes this chapter with what needs to happen to receive this life. Revelation 21:27 NASB95 and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

We are all unclean, and the practice of abomination is doing things God abhors. God abhors sin, and what is not of faith is sin. We are all guilty of sin. Romans 3:23 NASB95.for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Then He adds in lying. I won't even talk about lies today. However, needless to say, we can't be quenched in life because we are covered in sin. However, those whose names are written in the lamb's book of life will enter into life, receiving this quenching. We are in the book because of His atonement. We are left there through our faith in the one who is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

In our text, He says it is done. Because He is the beginning and the end He is outside of time and tells us IT IS DONE!

I place my faith in the one who is the Alpha and the Omega, who quenches our thirst with the water of life, and says it is already done in Him.
