Exodus 4:12 NASB1995 Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say.”

We are two days from Thanksgiving and we have so much to thank the Lord for. We must always start by thanking Him for who He is. If God was not then neither would we be. If God was not the God that He is then we would not be. If He was not Holy we would not exist. Thank you, Lord, for being my God.

We must thank Him for His Son! If Jesus was not God in the flesh we would be flesh and soul in Hell. If Jesus was not our propitiation then we would be our own sacrifice. This would be insufficient at its best. Thank you, Lord, for the salvation provided through Your Son Jesus.

We must also be Thankful for His commands which clearly point out our objectives in life. Without these, we would wander through life confused about our purpose. Thank you, Lord, for commanding us to go.

We must also be thankful for His presence in our journey. He sends us out to proclaim His word, but then He goes with us. We are never alone as a child of God. Thank you, Lord, for your never-ending presence.

We must also be thankful for His provision. If it wasn't for His provision of knowledge, words, strength, and actions, we would fall flat in failure. There would never be a success in our walk if it wasn't for His provisions. Thank you, Lord, for your provision.

Now, of course, this is not even close to a comprehensive list of things we must thank God for. However, it is a list of some things that we should strive to remember to say Thank you for.

I say thank you, Lord, for saving my soul.

Thank you, Lord, for making me whole.

Thank you, Lord, for giving to me

Thy great salvation so rich and free.

Thank you, Lord!

Love Bro. Scott
